Can I Change This Later?

 

If you’re the type of person who wonders which parts of an “inspired by a true story” are as much true as they are inspired and story, you should stick around for the credits.

 

In action films most of the scenes will transcend any language culture barrier, but the style of acting Jet Li uses in the first half of the movie to convey a character much younger than his natural age reminds me of watching Bruce Willis, Michael J. Fox, or Arnold Schwarzenegger in Japanese commercials.

 

If any of you ladies out there would like to seduce an older man, but aren’t quite sure how to proceed, Rachel Bilson puts on a clinic in this movie.

 

Thanks in no small part to the importance of elephants to the plot, this movie achieves what I can only describe as a perfect crescendo of absurdity.

 

Animation and live action should have more children, and if those children are swaddled in science fiction and nursed on social philosophy, so much the better.
